Nice to meet you fashion fans! We are proud to introduce Southeast14. Our brand is dedicated to providing your shoulders and wrists with a beautiful and enduring vessel to store your belongings.
All of our purses are original Southeast14 creations. The idea began in a district of London, England, which co-founders, Katy Bird and Genesee Jones spent exploring for almost a year after graduating college. This urban oasis, New Cross, was often lovingly referred to by its postal code, SE14 (Southeast14). Our designs are inspired by culture and individuality and we are dedicated to seamlessly combining the two. A concept New Cross has mastered for countless decades.

One of our newest creations, the Eastbound Cross-Body Bag, is a fine example of the mood we are striving for at SE14. Like most of our bags, it is made with genuine leather and Ikat fabric, all bought locally, all handmade. We are more than happy to custom mix-and-match our fabrics per our consumers’ tastes.
Thanks for reading and keep in touch to see more of our high-quality purses!
Southeast14 was founded by Iowa State University graduates, Katy Bird and Genesee Jones in 2010. Jonathan Leeks, working toward his MBA at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, joined the team in 2012. Bird is the lead designer of the company, Jones is the head of marketing and public relations, and Leeks is the business manager. SE14 specializes in designing and constructing high-quality handbags.
