It’s so hard to explain to kids just how much
you love them and I really want my kids to know that so a long time ago
I started this silly thing where I say to the girls, "I love you more than
(insert something I really love like sushi or coffee or shopping)." They started
saying it back and inserting something they really love which is
usually chocolate mint ice cream or Curious George.
It’s become a daily ritual for us now. These were from last February and it’s crazy how much their little voices have changed and fun to see how their favorite things have changed, too.
In case you can’t understand them Roo said she loves me more than "fruit and stuff" and The Lu said she loves me more than "macaroni and pizza". How lucky am I? That’s some serious lovin’…

That’s so cute! I tell my goddaughter I love her all the way to China – that seems to work.
