Wishing the most wonderful of birthdays to my dear friend, the beautiful and talented Jennifer Mullinax.
These pictures were shot back in September when I got together with Jen and our photographer friends Tracy Routh and Kelly Holder.
Jen told me that just before she left the house to meet up with us her youngest daughter Sophia came to her crying hysterically saying, "Mommy, I don't want you to die. I don't want you to die." Jen was completely puzzled. And then Sophia said, "Mommy, I don't want you to die. I don't want Miss Heather to shoot you."
Apparently, us photographers throw around the term "shoot" a little too loosely for almost four year old little girls. Sophia had heard Jen tell Jared that she was going to dinner us but we were all going to shoot each other first. Such a sweet, little girl. I'd say she gets it from her mama.
