Warning : Cuteness Overload Ahead

This was my second year to photograph this wonderful family and I was so excited to have them back.  My photographer friends will know what I mean when I say that shooting them seems more like just hanging out with friends than actually working. 

When I sent Mom the link to her gallery and asked her to send me a list of some faves for her Christmas card this was the email I got back.

"Oh, Heather!  What can I say?  I have SO MANY favorites that I’m sending you a list of most all of them.  Because of that I think you should have free reign on whatever you think for the xmas card.  Here are just some of my favorites."  Following a list of like twenty images she went on to say, "As you can see I liked it all…I really don’t know how you do what you do – you capture my kids how I always want to remember them – thank you from the bottom of my heart."

Thank YOU, Cisley, for allowing me to do what I truly love.  And just for the record, were you TRYING to make me cry?  Because that’s MY job. )

Now, meet my little buddies, Caroline and Joe.  Aren’t they beautiful! 

We found this note floating around in the alley where we were shooting and I just couldn’t pass it up. 

Then we found a little lady bug who wanted to hang out with us.  These are some of my favorites from the whole session.   I love how delicate Caroline is and how curious Joe is.
